Way To Much Time On Your Hands

Wow, what a week as many of you know my husband and I decided we were going to go full time living in an RV, more specifically a travel trailer, even more specifically a 2015 Jayco 32IBTS, the problem our little mini van would not haul that trailer, and we are not in the market to purchase a new tow vehicle, at least not until our house would sell.

This perdicament lead my husband and I to talking about how a pop up would be. Well, it wouldn't be nearly as spacious as the travel trailer but we are always up for adventure. Now, the focus has gone from which travel trailer do we want to which pop up camper do we want...and...I have found it!

It's an older model but in immaculate condition with only 2 owners and fits perfectly into our budget, at least until the house would sell. Then we could discuss a change if we so choose. I am thinking a minimum of 1 year living in the pop out would be adventurous and fun, so that is my goal.

The important amenities were a bathroom, well ok a toilet/shower combo because let's face it there isn't much space in a pop out, second was it has to have a stove/oven because we don't use a microwave so the oven is a must. Third, it has to be in excellent condition, I don't want to deal with dents, dings, rips, or mildew, and lastly it has to be in our budget...I have found all of the above in the pop out we have found and it's only 45 minutes from our house! Bonus!

The other thing my wonderful husband suggested was to take bicycles and travel the country with bicycles, tents and  3 kiddos. I am all for an adventure but I am not sure that is in my vocabulary, talk about "roughing it" right? A tent, bicycles, and kids some how that doesn't seem as exciting, but I suppose it's all in how you look at it. The sights you would see on food or in this case bicycles would be much better than in a traditional vehicle.

So, many things to think about, I am crossing my fingers things work out in our favor. I will be sure to keep you all updated, I am super excited either way for this new chapter in our lives.

What do you think? Travel trailer? Pop out? Bicycles and tents? Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts.
