Fit & Fabulous In 15 Minutes Book & DVD Review

I have always struggled with finding the motivation to exercise, both finding...well making the time and sticking to the routine. I, like a lot of people make excuses that seem legitimate such as, I am tired or the kids get into too much when I try to exercise, but in reality it's just me being lazy.

I have about 40 pounds I want to lose in order to get back to my starting weight before all my pregnancies. It isn't a ridiculous amount but it's enough. Back in 2010 I had gastric bypass surgery and I went from my highest weight of 375 pounds down to my lowest weight of 155 pounds. (If you want to read about that journey check out my WLS Blog Here) While I am no where close to my before weight I am still not happy sitting at the weight I am.

When I was offered the Fit & Fabulous in 15 Minutes book and DVD I was super excited. Only 15 minutes a day that I needed to work into my schedule, that sure beats 30-60 minutes. Theresa Tapp really did a wonderful job with this book and DVD set.

The exercises in this book are easy to do, no more crazy exercises done by professional trainers, that when you are at home they are pretty much impossible to accomplish. The exercises in both this book and on the DVD are really made for "normal" people who are trying to get in shape. I also like how she states it's not the quantity of reps you do but the quality of those reps.

So, if you are way out of shape like I am, and you have to do less reps, then make those reps count basically, and be proud of any steps you have taken to get in shape and healthier.

I love how detailed this book is, it gives step by step for all exercises along with detail instructions on form and what areas of the body the exercises work. There is also a sample meal plan to help you with the eating portion of getting healthier.

If you notice I say "getting healthy" as opposed to "dieting" or even "losing weight" and I do this because the one thing I learned from having my weight loss surgery (WLS) is that to lose weight you have to make a lifestyle change! You can't be on a diet, which is temporary and really not suppose to be successful. Think about all the "diet" plans out there, if they all worked #1. would there be so many? #2. Wouldn't American people in general have a lower rate of obesity? I honestly feel diets are a scam.

This book however will give you the tools you need to change your life, change your way of thinking and ultimately HELP you regain control of your life and get healthy.

You can pick up a copy of this book and DVD set from Amazon for only $15.95 for the paperback copy and $11.84 for the kindle version.

Don't make excuses and don't waste time, start your new healthier life today, I guarantee you won't be sorry you did!
