THE CHOSEN Book I: The Youth Ebook Review

This is the first book in the three part series and it is based on the story of Daniel from the Bible. I enjoy reading things based on Bible stories as well as the actual Bible. I find most times the stories that are based on the Bible can be easier to understand and relate to simply because of the language and grammar used. This book is no different I really enjoyed reading this one.

The story is pretty close to the original which I like because so many times you see such a difference that it is hard to be in touch with the original story. This is a three part series of books, and the other two are now on my "to read" list especially after having the chance to read this one.

The book description according to the product page:

"An Epic Novel Based on the Biblical story of Daniel who was separated from his family, his homeland and his childhood sweetheart, Daniel, a Judean youth of noble lineage, is exiled to Babylon, where his captors hope to use his talents at the Royal court. What will eventually become of the youth - as he is subjected to grueling trials and tests - neither he nor his captors can even imagine...Shlomo Kalo’s masterpiece of Biblical literature, THE CHOSEN, is being republished in three volumes. Kalo, one of the most prolific writers in Israel and a nominee for the Nobel Prize in Literature, brings to new life the themes and spirit of the Biblical story of Daniel in this lively, dramatic epic novel. His masterwork of storytelling weaves together the themes of faith, friendship, betrayal, love stronger than death, and redemption."

You can pick up this book as well as the other two in the series on Amazon today and either have them in the paperback form or the ebook format.
