Azteca Gold Virgin Coconut Oil Review

Coconut oil has so many wonderful uses it's amazing. You can use it for treating a multitude of skin problems, make sunscreen, lotion, soap, lip balm and so much more with it, you can even cook with it or bake with it. I have never seen such a versatile oil ever. When I was given the opportunity to try out Azteca Gold's virgin coconut oil I jumped on it.

While I have certainly baked and cooked with coconut oil I really enjoy using it in my personal hygiene and beauty things. I add a few drops to the bath water with a little Epsom salts and essential oils for a lovely relaxing bath that rejuvenates my entire body. The kids really enjoy these baths too. I have tried to use this coconut oil in making toothpaste, unfortunately I failed at every attempt I made at homemade toothpaste (here is the part of the review where I ask you my lovely readers if you have a homemade toothpaste recipe that is awesome, please share it with me in a comment below. *smiley face*)

Coconut oil makes an awesome carrier oil when you use essential oils too, it blends nicely and you not only get the essential oil benefits but you get the benefits from the coconut oil as well! Bonus! You will notice that there are typically two types of coconut oil, the solid form and liquid form it really is a preference on which form you prefer to work with I enjoy them both. I find that when I am mixing my essential oils the liquid form is the best to use but again it all boils down to what you like best.

Azteca Gold's coconut oil is grown and refined on an Island in Southern Thailand, the oil is cold pressed which preserves the most benefits from the oil and keeps it locked in the oil. If you have ever been shopping for coconut oil you know the good stuff can be expensive but the Azteca Gold brand isn't too over priced, this 100mL bottle costs about $14.99 through Amazon.
