Charcoal Bamboo Cloth Diaper Inserts From My Newborn Review

You may remember my post on the charcoal bamboo diaper inserts with gussets, well here we have another review, again with the charcoal bamboo but this time without the gussets. While I do really like the gusset inserts these might be my new favorite simply because they actually fill the entire Flip cover that I use. The gusset inserts seem to be a bit small for my Flip covers but I am sure would work well for pockets or as an addition to another insert. While the gussets did work fine for us, no leaks or blow outs I like a little more...coverage.

These charcoal bamboo inserts give me the coverage I am looking for, the leak protection I need and the slim look and fit that Maverick appreciates. These unlike my prefolds are not real bulky which is really nice. These inserts are highly absorbent, I have already used them on my son overnight which typically is from 9pm til 7am and we have never had a leak...yet.

The price on these is well worth it, only $25.95 for 10 inserts, good luck finding a better price on 10 high quality charcoal bamboo inserts, I have tried and had no luck. This is certainly the best deal around as far as I can find. These can be used as doublers as well, in your pocket diapers or AIO diapers. Because they can touch baby's skin with no issues you can pretty much use them with any cloth diaper. I actually took one and made a "mama cloth" pad with it to try when I have this next baby, cause we all know how bad the post partum weeks can be. I will have to update and let ya'll know how that works come January.

Overall, though these charcoal bamboo inserts are a favorite in our home, they are great quality, highly absorbent and wash up nicely.

You can pick up your own 10 pack of these awesome charcoal bamboo diaper inserts from Amazon.

  1. I might have to try some of these! I'll probably mainly use prefolds and covers but want to have a few different options as well. These look like a great place to start, especially for overnight!
