When we began thinking about going full time one the road, Ryan and I received lots of helpful information on things we should expect and also purchases we should make before hand to prepare us. The one thing we were told to think about getting was a small dehumidifier, especially after we decided to go full time in a pop up to begin with. I don't know much about pop up campers but many long time owners have said how quickly they can collect moisture.
When I was given the chance to try this Gurin electric dehumidifier I was excited, although I do not have a camper as of yet, I did test it out in my basement room which has been leaking every time it rains. We used to have a full sized dehumidifier which broke probably about a year ago. This little thing while it will not work well for my entire basement (which in defense of the unit, is huge) it does work VERY well with that one room where the leak is.
This dehumidifier uses Peltier Technology (no compressor) making it light and quiet. It is perfect for bathrooms, and small to mid-sized rooms where dampness and humidity are a problem. This machine works by extracting the moisture from the air and stores it in the spill-proof reservoir. This is super easy to use simply plug it in and it quietly dries the air.
This machine has some really awesome features besides the quiet running and small size, like an automatic shut off switch to shut the unit off when the water reservoir is full. The water tank will hold up to 16 oz. of water.
