PurAthlete Regenerate Powder From Advantage Nutrition #Review

Ever since Ryan began trying to get healthy he likes to walk... A LOT. In fact it isn't odd for him and Landon to go on 15 mile hikes. After all that exercise though it is important to replenish your body, which is where this PurAthlete Regenerate powder from Advantage Nutrition comes in handy.

If you look at the ingredients this powder is basically just a magnesium and magnesium blend which helps to replenish the body after a moderately intense work out. The magnesium actually replaces electrolytes in the same way Gatorade would, only this powder gives you much more per serving and without all the additives and sugars. The Magnesium also helps your muscles recover from your work out, which can be a major bonus for anyone working on strength training.

According to the PurAthlete product page on Amazon:

• Rapidly replenishes electrolytes
• Enhances and sustains nutrition
• Increases energy levels
• Improves mental acuity
• Promotes continuous recovery
• Free of toxic chemicals
• Banned-substances free

The powder doesn't have a bad taste, I know the container says to mix it with water but Ryan typically prefers to mix it with juice. The fact it has safe ingredients and no chemical concoctions is a bonus as well. Ryan has seen a slight increase in his energy levels but he is not sure if that is due to this powder after his work outs or if it is a mixture of his other supplements he is taking. Either way he has more energy and he seems to be in a better mood all around. This powder is also NSF approved with absolutely no banned substances, gluten or diuretics.

Overall, if you are looking for a post workout drink I would have to recommend this powder to help keep your muscles and body in tip top shape following moderately intense workouts.
