When my first born was growing up Johnson's & Johnson's was a name that was highly recognized among mothers, it was once thought the company provided safe and healthy baby care products that would keep your baby clean, smelling good and healthy but in recent years it has come to light that this was not and is not the case. If you think I am just saying things you can check out the 2014 article in the NY Times about how Johnson's and Johnson's is "phasing out" harmful chemicals and ingredients, but to be honest they should never have included toxic ingredients in the first place, our babies are the most vulnerable and should never be exposed to such harmful ingredients. But anyways enough about the toxic ingredients, I could write a book on all the companies whose sole concern is turning a profit and their least concern is our safety and health. My last word of advice is just research each ingredient in your personal care products both for yourself and your children and know what's in your products.
This is a review on the Lil Leona natural baby shampoo and baby wash. Unlike other natural brands this bottle is a huge 16 ounces in size and will last roughly a month or more. For us we use a little on the heads for shampoo and then I use a little in the bath water as bubble bath and we hardly use any at all. As you can see from the photo below this shampoo and baby wash is free of parabens and phosphates and even sulfates all of which have been linked to increased risks of cancer.
So, many people tell me they simply "can't afford" to pay $17.99 a bottle for baby wash when Johnson's & Johnson's is only $4 a bottle or even the Equate brand coming in at less than that, but I ask you, isn't your child(rens) health worth the investment? When you break it down, say a bottle lasts you a month so in reality you are spending $17.99 a month, which equals about $.60 a day to use a product that is safe for your child, that's really not that much if you think about it. I bet you spend more on a cup of coffee or your cable bill or cell bill each month. While I know sacrificing having cable for a safe baby wash might not be for everyone, the purpose was simply to show you how affordable being healthy can be.
If you would like to know all the other ingredients found in this wonderful baby wash they are listed below for you...(Don't let the big words scare you, I looked these ingredients up before using the product and they are all safe).

This baby wash might not smell like your typical baby wash but the subtle scent it does have is wonderful and the best part if the scent is made with natural ingredients not a harmful cocktail of ingredients labeled as "fragrance" or "parfum." Overall, I have to say I am super pleased with this product and I will be purchasing it in the future for my family.
If you are ready to make the switch to a safer and healthier baby shampoo and body wash then head on over to Amazon now and pick up a bottle of Lil Leona Baby Wash.
