Shatterproof Wine Glass Set #Review

I have been wanting to try shatterproof glasses for a while now, between kids and me personally being clumsy and then the fact of going on the road soon I thought they would be a fantastic idea to have around instead of the typical glass glasses, although they are nice I am a bit disappointed and allow me to explain in a little more detail.

The shatterproof glasses are made from FDA approved food grade silicone, so they are sure to be safe for your entire family as far as that goes, and no they will never break hence being made from silicone and yes these are even dishwasher safe which is super nice for all those of you with dishwashers, but that is about where the pros stop and the con begins. The thing I never really thought about is these are made from silicone...silicone is flexible....making these not the sturdiest glasses in the world. While I did expect some give from the glasses because of the fact they are made from silicone I half expected them to be a bit more sturdy when filled.

I obviously didn't put win into my glass, instead I used my all time favorite iced tea to test out my new silicone shatterproof "wine" glass. When I lifted it up from the table I was really worried it would fold into itself causing my tea to spill all over, although this didn't happen I was super careful about how I was grabbing and handling my shatterproof glass. So, with that being said I would have to say this would not be a good fit for anyone to use other than an adult, I would even be a bit apprehensive letting my 10 year old use them just because of what I refer to as the "overly flexible" factor.

Don't get me wrong the glasses are nice and definately serve their purpose of not breaking but as far as everyday use for my family...I have to rate them a 3-4/5 stars and say I personally prefer my stainless steel cups much more.
