While I can appreciate the fact that this is paraben free there are still 3 main questionable ingredients I found in this product. See my list below. I check every ingredient of my products to EWG.org website to see the hazard levels on them. 1-2 is a low hazard, 3-4 is medium, and 5-6 is high hazard levels. Based on the three ingredients that came up over a 1 level on the site I have decided this product is not safe enough for me to want to use it. I compared every single listed ingredient on this product to the EWG.org site and over 75% of the ingredients were listed as a level 1 hazard, meaning they posed a low risk, which I can usually handle, but the 2, 3, 4 and so on is not something I mess around with.
* Chlorphenesin (ranked 2 on EWG.org)
* Sorbic Acid (ranked 3 on EWG.org)
* Ceramide AP (ranked between 3 &4 on EWG.org)
While I know not everyone worries as much as I do about the ingredients lists on products I always feel it is important to share the knowledge because most people just never knew what garbage was being pumped into our cosmetics, food, hygiene, and female products. My personal theory is I am bombarded by garbage on a daily basis from the food I eat to the air I breathe, if I can willingly avoid some of it then I certainly will try.
I suppose I was more disappointed because this seemed like a more "natural" product and while I am sure it is compared to other brands on the market this isn't as "natural" as the company is claiming.
If you really want your hair to grow then take an all natural biotin supplement it works MUCH better and you will also gain healthy/strong nails and your skin will improve as well. Skip the "easy fix" creams and do something beneficial like a natural/organic supplement.
