These are so cute, the minute I took them out of the package the kids went nuts over them. They all wanted stars in their rooms. They were really easy to hang to be honest in the package you get two little bricks of putty that you simply pull pieces off and press to the back of the stars and then simply press the stars where you want them and voila you have stars anywhere you want them.
Landon chose to stick his on his ceiling and well, Sopheria and Maverick decided to just stick theirs everywhere. It was fun and the kids kept busy hanging their stars. I liked it because it gave the kids something constructive to do and gave them a chance to be creative as they placed their stars wherever they wanted.
When you order your set you will received a booklet which lays out how the constellations are so you could even put your stars up on the ceiling in your favorite constellation layout. The putty sticks well but not so well that you have to worry about it pulling the paint off your ceiling when you decide to remove your stars, which is another really nice aspect to these stars.
To work them you just expose the stars to light (either a lamp or the sun) for 2-3 minutes and then they will glow for quite a long time (at least that has been our experience). We open the blinds in the kids' bedrooms each morning and expose the stars to the natural sunlight all day and by bedtime they can drift off to sleep gazing at the stars in their rooms.
I can remember having these as a kid and they were so much fun, I am so happy to share this same experience with my kids, I honestly thought these things were extinct by now, but I am very pleased to see that is not the case. Give your kids a piece of your past and pick up a 200 piece set of these awesome stars today!
