Baby Car Seat Cover From MamaDadaBaby #Review

I have never really been a fan of the infant car seats, for our family we prefer the convertible ones. You spend the money one time and you have a car seat for years, it just seems to make more sense, especially with the cost of car seats being so much now a days. However, with all that being said if I had a convertible car seat I would have missed out on the opportunity to test out this super cute infant car seat cover.

When my youngest, Oliver, was born January 25, 2016 it was the start of a cold spell for northern Pa, this winter. I had a car seat cover at the time that I was using. It was a handmade one from a friend and it was adorable, but it was a pain. Due to the ends being open and just laying across the car seat anytime the wind would blow it would lift up my cover, exposing my tiny little newborn to the cold. It was disappointing, at least that was until this MamaDadaBaby car seat cover arrived.

I love how the edges are elastic which means it fits snuggly around the car seat, and keeps the cover snug even in wind. My only real issue with this is that because of the elastic you can't really lay down the carry handle which makes it hard to use the back seat car mirror with the cover, but in all honesty I will gladly work around that for a cover like this.

The cover itself is made with a gray cotton chevron print material on the outside and a very soft and plush gray material inside. The flap has a series of snaps that keep it closed when need be and also makes it easy to open when need be. The snaps make the flap able to be opened in different levels or taken completely off. This feature is really nice when baby is sleeping and you want to keep the light from their eyes but still want them covered.

Overall, I am very pleased with this infant car seat cover and would recommend it to any expectant parent. This would also make a wonderful gift for someone due in the cold winter months. The other nice thing about this cover is the gray chevron print is a neutral print so you can use for both little boys and girls.
