Baby Wearing With A Wonderful Wrap

I discovered the amazing thing called babywearing when my second child was born, well, I suppose she was almost a year when I first discovered it. I wished I would have found out about babywearing long before that though, because once I realized how much easier life was when I could wear my kiddo things were so much better.

I could not do dishes and laundry and still have my daughter close to me where she was happy and I was happy and productive. It was a total win win. When I first started babywearing I began with an Ergo brand soft structured carrier and I loved it. It wasn't until recently I found out about wraps. I had wanted a wrap since my third child was born almost 2 years ago and to be honest they were always way out of my budget, until I found this one. This is a soft stretchy material that is great for smaller children.

I currently have two wrap style carriers, this one from Huggy Hug and another one that a WAHM made and was selling. The difference between the two isn't much the one I have from the WAHM is a bit longer and also a bit less stretchy which I personally prefer. I thought this wrap was a bit too stretchy, it was and is nice for the younger children but I wouldn't really trust my almost 2 year old or 4 year old in it, I think there is just a little too much give in the material to safely wear them. Although I have to say the company states you can use this carrier for children up to 35lbs me personally I wouldn't.

I really liked the feel of the material, it was easy to wrap with and very comfortable, I did have a problem with the label though, it's right in the center which is nice to help you find the center when wrapping but the tag is so stiff and uncomfortable and it sits right where the baby/child's head and neck are which can't be comfortable for them either. But other than those two things I have to say this is a very well made and durable carrier, it would be perfect for those who are on a budget or just want to try a wrap style carrier and don't want to spend a lot to do it.

You can pick this up in a variety of colors form Amazon
