Lean 180 Muscle Mix Protein Powder Review

So, as most of you probably know back in 2010 I had gastric bypass surgery. Since then I have lost a total of 200lbs and regained about 70 of that (through three pregnancies) but that's no excuse. I have been trying to get back to my goal weight of 155lbs since January like 3rd. So far I have lost 21lbs in a little over two months. I have switched many things in my daily routine and including protein poweder has been one of those changes. I choose to mix a scoop of protein powder in with my coffee each morning instead of using milk and sugar and it works great.

I was offered a chance to try this new protein powder from "Lean 180" and figured why not. Now, I will say I do like the poweder BUT I prefer the powder I am currently using more and I will tell you why. First, please take a moment and check out my review video below for a little info on my experience then come back and read the rest of my review. :)

Ok, welcome back I hope that video was a little informative for you, I am not a big fan of making video reviews and I am sure you can tell. Ok, so...my beef with this product or the things I don't like are...

* The sample size was not adequate enough to provide a thorough test of the product and give feedback.
* There are only 16 grams of protein per serving (my current brand has 24 grams of protein
* There are natural and artificial flavors and ingredients
* Sucralose
* Doesn't really help curb my appetite like my current brand

The things I liked about this product based on the small sample size I got...

* Blends well with a spoon
* No aftertaste
* Blends smoothly
* Available in 4 great flavors - I had the chocolate

Overall, I would say this is better than some other brands out there but to be honest if I compate this to my current brand...I pay $37 and some change for a 4lb tub compared to $49.99 for this normal sized bag...I will stick with my current brand I would have to give this a 3/5 star review.

If you want to try it yourself I recommend that for sure. You can pick your favorite flavor from their website. Lean 180

  1. Thanks for the review! We're big on protein powder in my house! I couldn't find ingredients though, and I'm curious if they use whey protein?

  2. Even a few years ago, we had to depend on Infra Red and Bluetooth technology to transfer files between two phones. They were slow and could only be used within a small range. Now with the advancement of technology, we can use some really great apps that allow us to transfer files at lightning fast speed. One such app is SHAREit, which helps us to transfer files really quickly. To know more about it, just check
